A quiet, feminine presence is suspended between looking and saying. The eye seems to “speak”, while mouth “sees.” The matte gold surface turns the figure into a kind of icon. A series of LEDs pulses periodically, breathing life into the head. Perception becomes utterance, light becomes voice.
